It has no drum and no water supply connection; instead it fills a removable tank by hand, heats that water into steam in an internal generator, and flexes a motorized hanger rail so garments release wrinkles without touching a wash cycle. That mechanism means a Styler fails in places a washer never does.
Most service calls trace to one of four places: the steam generator itself, the two water tanks (fill and condensate return), the moving hanger motor, or the door seal that has to hold steam pressure inside a glass-fronted cabinet. A Styler that runs its cycle quietly but leaves clothes just as wrinkled almost always points at the hanger motor rather than the steam side, since the two systems fail independently.
