dn1, dn2, dn3, and dn4 are not error codes - per LG's dedicated Help Library article, they refer to available downloaded (preset) cycles that come pre-installed on the Styler, ready to use without needing the ThinQ app: dn1 is Fur/Leather Care, dn2 is Static electricity removal or Suits/Uniforms, dn3 is Jeans, and dn4 is Down Jacket Care (available cycles can vary by model and ThinQ app version).
Common Causes of dn1, dn2, dn3, dn4 (Downloaded Cycles)
- Owner cycling through the Special Care button to select a downloaded cycle
- Display briefly showing the cycle code as confirmation of selection
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Press the Special Care button repeatedly to select the desired downloaded cycle - the selection toggles in order through Pants Crease, then Fur/Leather Care (dn1), Suit/Uniforms (dn2), Jeans (dn3), and Down Jacket Care (dn4); on some Essence Objet-based models, touch the Refresh button instead of Special Care.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- There's nothing to repair - seeing dn1 through dn4 simply confirms which preset cycle is currently selected, and the display isn't reporting any malfunction.
