- CH61 exists specifically to prevent a fire hazard and further product malfunction from an overheating heat exchanger - don't keep restarting the unit repeatedly without addressing ventilation or filter cleaning first, since that's working against the safety feature rather than fixing the underlying cause.
- If improving ventilation (cooling mode) or cleaning the filter (heating mode) doesn't resolve a repeat CH61, that points to an internal heat-exchanger or sensor fault needing a technician rather than continued environmental fixes.
