WKGX301HBA is LG’s newest and largest-capacity gas WashTower tier, numbered above the WKGX201 XL machines rather than replacing them — LG currently sells both capacity tiers side by side. The mechanical architecture is unchanged from the rest of the WashTower range: a washer and a gas dryer stacked in one cabinet, sharing a control panel but otherwise independent, so the same which-half-is-it diagnostic question applies here as on every other WashTower.
Being the newest tier in the lineup, this model has the least field history of any WashTower in this file, which is worth being upfront about: fewer of them have been in service long enough to establish which components fail first, so diagnosis leans more heavily on the documented fault code than on repair history at this stage.
