What AI, A1 Means
AI (or A1) is not an error - LG's dedicated article explains this means the Artificial Intelligence function is active, which automatically senses indoor temperature and adjusts to a comfortable level; while it's active, the temperature, airflow, and air-direction buttons may not respond the way they do in normal mode, since the AI logic is controlling those adjustments itself.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
If you want manual control over temperature and airflow, switch to Normal Cooling Mode instead of AI mode; there's no fault to fix if you simply prefer AI mode's automatic behavior.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- There's no repair here - if the unit is behaving exactly as AI mode is designed to (auto-adjusting temperature and airflow based on sensed indoor conditions), that's normal operation, not a fault.
