LG does not use one code system, it uses four. Washers, dryers, dishwashers and the Styler report two-letter codes. Ranges, ovens and cooktops report numeric F-codes. Refrigerators use their own prefixed codes. Air conditioners use CH-codes. The lists overlap on paper and mean entirely different things in practice, so a code looked up against the wrong appliance line sends you to the wrong part.
