What E00 Means
E00 means the Display PCB cannot read software from the Main PCB, per LG's dryer Help Library article - a board communication/firmware fault.
Common Causes of E00
- Temporary communication glitch between the display and main boards
- Main board firmware fault
- Loose or damaged connector between the boards
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the dryer, wait 60 seconds, and restart it to see if the boards reestablish communication.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If E00 persists after a proper reset, this is board-level electronics that needs a technician - opening the control housing to inspect connectors without the right approach risks damaging delicate ribbon cables.
