What CH24 Means
CH24 indicates a pressure switch error, per LG's dehumidifier Help Library article.
Common Causes of CH24
- Dirty air filter restricting airflow
- Items or furniture blocking airflow around the unit
- Pressure switch fault
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Make sure the air filter in the unit is clean, remove or reposition anything blocking airflow around the unit, then unplug it for at least 3 minutes before restoring power.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If cleaning the filter, clearing airflow obstructions, and a full reset don't resolve CH24, LG says the unit will require repair service - the pressure switch itself is an internal component not meant for owner replacement.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
