What Sb (Sabbath Mode) Means
Sb (which can also appear as S6, 5b, or 56 depending on the display) means Sabbath Mode is active, a genuine feature for observing the Jewish Sabbath and holidays - LG's error-code list is explicit this is not a fault.
Common Causes of Sb (Sabbath Mode)
- Sabbath Mode was intentionally activated
- Button combination was pressed accidentally, enabling it
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
To turn Sabbath Mode off manually, press and hold the Freezer and Wi-Fi buttons together for about 3 seconds; LG notes the mode also turns off automatically after 96 hours.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- There's nothing to repair - calling for service because Sb is displayed would be paying for what's actually a working, intentional feature.
