What nC Means
nC appears when the connection between the Display PCB and the NFC PCB module is faulty, per LG's front-load washer Help Library article. This affects NFC-based smart features, not core washing.
Common Causes of nC
- Temporary connection glitch between the display and NFC module
- NFC module hardware fault
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the washer, wait 60 seconds, and restart it; this is a smart-connectivity fault, not a wash-cycle fault, so the washer should otherwise run normally.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If a reset doesn't clear nC, the NFC module or its connector needs a technician's replacement, but there's no urgency to core washing - the machine can keep being used normally in the meantime.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
