What PE, E33 (Water Level / Pressure Sensor) Means
PE means the water level (pressure) sensor can't correctly detect how full the tub is, per LG's front-load and top-load washer Help Library articles. LG's top-load article notes a washer installed in a humid space, like a bathroom, can sometimes trigger this from moisture affecting the sensor.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Unplug the washer for about 10 seconds and reconnect before restarting the cycle; if you've installed the washer somewhere humid, that's worth noting since LG specifically flags humidity as a possible trigger.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If a reset doesn't clear PE, the pressure sensor itself needs replacement, which is inside the cabinet near the tub and not a surface-accessible part.
- Running cycles repeatedly with a faulty level sensor risks either underfilling (poor wash results) or overfilling (leak risk), so don't keep restarting the same load hoping for a different outcome.
